Why I’ve fallen out of love with fitness  Last year I was SO excited to begin a new chapter as a Personal Trainer but fast forward a year and Ive decided its definitely not for me. I’ve come to realise fitness has become a industry saturated with false perception and crippling insecurities that drip feeds and creates everything I’m trying to fix and I can’t be bothered giving my energy to this anymore. Fitness to me is a set of habits that allows you to be mentally and physically fit but also enjoy your fucking life - I’m sick of getting inboxes saying I should track my food intake to set a good example or being judged on my training ability/how often I go the gym because I’m a PT. Instagram accounts are full of ass pictures and beautiful edited angles or stupid fucking detox teas and tbh I’m not about that life, I can’t be assed and I want to help people not be affected by this bullshit. Don’t get me wrong there’s unbelievable accounts such as @jamessmithpt @diren.kartal @mycoach_ben @lucydavis_fit killing the game and promoting fitness in a positive way so give them a follow if you don’t  I love training my girls because I love helping them feel positive in their skin and happy with who they are so I will continue with this whilst I study but long term I’m out the game #fitness #reflection

Brekkie was two weetabix (hexb), slimline milk (part HExA) and sliced banana (F).

Yesterday was off plan after breakfast  brekkie was French toast made with low cal bread (HExA), sliced (F), low fat Choc spread (2) dipped in egg and cinnamon. Lunch was a brown bread (8) ham (P), cheese (HExA +1) and tomato (S) toastie. Followed by local biscuits from a Polish bakery that we found (gonna say 4 for all because we shared each one). Dinner was half a chicken in black bean (3.5) with boiled rice (F) and chips (5) then had two drinks which were probably 14 together 🤦‍️ it's mad how quickly the syns can stack up. Going to say yesterday was just under 40

Looking for a more advanced way to add speed work into your upper body training days?

This speed bench press performed by on site client Alex can give you just that. However be mindful that this is an advanced movement so i'd make sure you are very confident with bench pressing as well as speed based work before attempting it. (Bands are optional).
.
I use these types of movements as parts of complexes or supersets with other similar movements, usually in sets of up to 5 reps. Make sure to keep it as fast as possible and around 50% of what you would use for that rep range when training for strength.

You cannot force something to happen if it’s not meant to happen. You can’t force a habit overnight, You can’t force your ideal weight over night, you can’t force change over night. You have to develop into it for it to stick. We call this the process. The process takes time no matter what you are trying to achieve physical, mental, social and spiritual. This is why a regular daily work ethic in applying something is crucial to anything from weight loss to inner peace to relationships. When you realise everything coincides with each other you will realise the process for everything is the same the plan maybe different but the process for it needs to develop. The process is different  for everyone we are all made up differently and this is why we must never compete at life against each other as our purpose for doing things are different,our core values are different. Success looks different to all of us. But the encouragement of each other is far more effective than trying to out do each other because encouragement raises the bar to keep each other to be better and constantly comparing to another will set you back not focusing on your progress and focusing on someone else.

يكي از بهترين حركات براي رفع افتادگي سينه(جلوگيري از افتادگي سينه) ،براي خانومابه نظرم اين حركت خيلي بيشتر از حركتهاي مختلف انواع پرسها تأثير گذاره.
.
 با يه دمبل ساده هم ميتونيد تو خونه انجام بديد.ميتونيد كامل روي يه نميكت یا توپ ورزشی دراز بكشيد. يا در حالت حرفه اي ترش فقط قسمت پشت و كتف رو رو نيمكت بذاريد...(خيلي فرقي نميكنه هر كدوم راحت تريد ) به هر حال دامنه حركتي تا پايين هست. تا جايي كه آرنجها كنار سر برسه و دمبل كاملا بياد زير نميكت.

 علاوه بر سينه قسمت زير بغل (پشت)كه خيلي ها ميگن اينا چرا آويزن...رو هم درگير ميكنه. به اندازه كافي با يه حركت دوتانشون ميزنيد. هم سينه تقويت ميشه هم زير بغل.آرنج خيلي خم نميشه در واقع آرنج خم هست و در حالت خم دست رو بالا پايين ميبريم سعي ميكنيم آرنج رو بازي نديم.با هالتر هم ميشه انجام داد...ميشه تركيبي با پشت بازو هالتر خوابيده كار كرد (يه پلاور يه پشت بازو هالتر...يه پلاور يه پشت بازو هالتر...)و اين كه اينا همه در كنار درست نشستن درست خوابيدن و با اعتماد به نفس راه رفتن (سينه رو جلو بديد هميشه و راه بريد) تاثير گذاره. و يه شبه اكي نميشه.

 3 تا ست 15 يا 12 تايي اين حركت رو انجام بديد.

Throwback to a decent 3 reps with 85kgs️ .
It’s been quite a few weeks since I’ve lifted some good weights due to a pretty severe back pain. But I rested , recovered , worked on it, only to fall victim to viral fever🤦‍️
But doesn’t matter, waiting to pump some iron again super soon and will go beast mode then!

Wasn't sure I could lift it after doing the Leg Press  but went for it.  Also happy with the rest of the session.

Not me now, but I’m determined to beat this.
4.5 months since I’ve trained any chest or shoulders due to a laberal tear in my shoulder and 2 months since any upper body training at all. 
Even though there is no set time frame before I will be back training at 100%, I have been seeing some really awesome rehab progress with the man @anthonyhawke which makes me damn excited to be back at it. Until then, the training split stays 3 days on, 1 day off quads,calves,hamstrings, rest 🤷‍️

Heavy leg session today. Highlights include:
- 60kg squats for 3 out of 5 sets of 10
- 110kg vertical leg press for 10 reps (one side pictured)
- 127kg on calf press for 15 reps
- 16kg dumbbell Romainian deadlifts for 10 reps

Ironically when I was foam rolling my right vastus lateralis - outer quad muscle - I leaned too hard and an unimaginable pain shot down my leg into my ankle 🤦‍️ Good session though, based on one of @stephaniesanzo’s workouts on @bodybuildingcom 🤙🤙 #legday #fitness #gym
