Lesson learned for future trips, now that we’re on the last day of a 3-month adventure: there *is* such a thing as too much technology in one backpack. Could be the jet-fuel coffee at the hostel, but I’m feeling a bit wired.

This one was a beach to edit while on a rickety bus across Krabi, Thailand. Planned and shot just before wading out to the island ferry with all my technology inches away from a watery demise.

I’ve never had 10,000 of anything; thank you so much to everyone! Consider me suitably motivated to keep on taking pictures that worry my loved ones. Mind officially blown.

I’ll avoid cobbling together any obviously corny puns this time - I’m not sure when autocannibalism became my ‘thing’ artistically but I’ll embrace it for the time being.

To the alarmed hotel staff this morning: I wish I knew the Thai for “sorry about the inflated latex gloves, I promise I’m not a threat.” On a related note, thank you to 7/11 for selling 10-packs of latex gloves; balloons would have been preferable.

When planning this shot, I didn’t take into account the tattoo in each ‘arm’ photo - I’ve decided it was totally intentional, as opposed to taking the trouble to edit it out of every bloody layer.

A quick on-the-spot edit from yesterday’s climbing event at @thailandclimbing , Chiang Mai, featuring the indomitable @megan.coast in her natural habitat.

It was very important that I buy multiple packs of M&Ms for this photo, then violently consume them upon its completion.

I worked REALLY HARD on this drawing and wanted to share it will all my friends on Instagram.

I’d like to thank Chiang Mia’s Royal Guesthouse for its surprisingly photogenic window placements. Included a slightly manic clip of the editing process - just discovered that @procreate has its own time-lapse recording function, like I wasn’t alread

Huge thanks to @hidreley and the guys at @boredpanda for the feature - and apologies to the apparently traumatised commenters...

Yet another benefit of using a stylus: saving my tablet screen from a greasy, barebcuey fate while snacking for inspiration.

Because violence baguettes violence: I’m sure it’s possible to get bored of budget backpacker breakfasts in Cambodia, but I’ve yet to get there. Check out felloutofthenest.com for more Southeast Asia adventure photos!

I’ve been backpacking on a steady diet of Lightroom editing and brain/pickling iOS games for almost three months now, and cherish it more than I would my own child. I’ve only broken the screen multiple times and let it get rained on a little bit.

Sapa, Vietnam - The colours and culture of Vietnam are a photographer’s dream. This particular lady seemed especially amused by the sweaty travellers wandering confused around her market. More shots from this year’s adventure featured on www.fellouto

^ The face of concern as you take photos in the Koh Rong jungle, taking care not to annoy the local wildlife. Apologies to the hermit crab I narrowly avoided evicting from its shell.

They say to draw/write/shoot what you know, which at this point in my life is exclusively the packing and unpacking of backpacks between hostels.
