Learning to handle it
Life isn’t easy. You have to work hard, be consistent, and just keep going. -
I know this week as I go back to school it’s going to take some adjustment on my part. But that’s what life is about!! Learning to adapt when things change. -
To get through life changes with less stress here are a couple things to try: 
1. Physically write out what you have to do each day, when you can see it, it’s less overwhelming. 
2. Prepare as much as you can for each day the night before. If that means finishing some reading early, or packing your food, it’ll mean less to stress about in the morning.
And 3. Schedule in time for yourself. Personally I like having that time in the morning before my day starts. This is when I will go to the gym, shower, watch something entertaining, etc. I just really make sure to choose something that is not related to work or school, and is low stress. -

205 lbs Front Squat to a 10 box with a Titan Fitness Harness for a 1RM.  This is by far the best way to do front squats.  I stopped early today because I was feeling some pain in my lower back so I stopped here and focused on rehab but this is by far my favorite way to do these going forward.

I recognized at an early age that teachers and coaches have a huge influence in the roles they serve, and this has always stuck with me. I’ve always wanted to be a good teacher and coach if ever given the opportunity. Anyone can learn if they have a teacher who cares and is patient.

In any event, my time came in my 40s. I found my sport (fitness) and my career (personal training).

My first adult coach was the ‘Godfather of Olympic Weightlifting,’ Ivan Abadjiev, who moved to the states from Bulgaria. I had the privilege of training under him for four years as a Masters Competitive Olympic Weightlifter, and with his help, I’ve broken many Masters World Records.
. 
Later, I was introduced to a new sport, called the ‘Reebok CrossFit Games ~ the Fittest of the Earth.’ I've qualified for the @thecrossfitgames_ four times and have placed within the top 10 each year.

Along with an educational background in nutritional science and exercise physiology, I have more than a solid understanding of what it takes to take care of your bodies on a daily basis. With my help, you can achieve anything you set out to!

When thinking about losing weight the most important thing to consider is you how many calories you consume a day VS how many calories you burn. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume (caloric deficit). -

When it comes to exercise selection, the reason Cardio is inferior is because of what some call the “cardio paradox” which basically means the more cardio you do the better you become at it and then the more you have to do to get the same result.... It takes burning approx. 3,500 calories to lose 1lb. So that means if you’re burning 100cal. in 10min of cardio then you would have to do 50min of cardio a day everyday of the week to lose only 1lb. Highly inefficient. -

When weight training you’re telling your body that of the, let’s say 300 calorie deficit you are creating with dietary control, you want to take them from your body fat stores. Not muscle. Training is there to provide a stimulus to help your body retain to muscle, cardio doesn’t help as much when it comes to retaining muscle. So if you want to keep muscle and lose fat it’s weight training for the win! -

1. Taking the process too seriously. If the process becomes too rigorous and too strict, then there is a high possibility that we won't stick to the process

2. Thinking you need to have shakes, teas etc. to get results

3. Thinking once you are working out, you can eat what you want 
4. Going on too many fad diets

5. Thinking you need some special equipment to start.

I got to see my friend absolutely kill it in the middle height bikini category and have the privilege to present her trophy and that moment made me want to continue absolutely nailing this off season - seeing the joy it brings when someone you know wins, seeing a tear in her eye, knowing their journey and knowing how much it meant to them - something as a competitor I can obviously relate to and I want that feeling back more than anything. Durch das richtige Umfeld. Auch ich bin dankbar für meinen Partner und Freunde die mich mitreißen und mir die Trainingszeit auflockern. .
Und auch meine Klienten motivieren mich mit ihren Zielen. So wie Iris, die sich aktuell auf einen Halbmarathon vorbereitet. .

Ich habe immer gerne Sport gemacht und brauche das auch, um zufrieden zu sein. Da ich mittlerweile einen kleinen Sohn habe und auch beruflich gut zu tun habe, war ich schon froh, wenn ich einmal die Woche eine kleine Runde Laufen und eine Einheit Yoga geschafft habe. Zufrieden war ich aber trotzdem nicht. Leider wohne ich nicht in der Nähe von Sina. Sina und ich hatten uns dann auf der Geburtstagsfeier einer Freundin getroffen und da hat mich ihr Konzept vollends überzeugt. Ich fand es insbesondere gut, dass Sina genau schaut, was für die jeweilige Person und ihre Umstände passt. Ein paar Monate später habe ich dann bei Sina ein Online-Coaching begonnen und sie hat mich tatsächlich aus meinem Quark geholt. Statt nur einmal die Woche laufe ich jetzt mindestens zweimal die Woche neben meiner Yogaeinheit. In unserem ersten Termin haben wir mein Ziel für die nächste Zeit definiert und dann kontinuierlich darauf hingearbeitet. Jetzt stehe ich kurz vor meinem ersten Halbmarathon, trotz einiger Verletzungen während der Vorbereitung. Zwischenzeitlich hab ich nicht mehr geglaubt, dass ich es noch schaffe, aber Sina hat meinen Trainingsplan immer wieder den jeweiligen Umständen angepasst und mir Mut gemacht. Aktuell laufe ich mit Begeisterung und ohne Schmerzen und freue mich auf den Lauf! Ich hoffe, dass mich Sina auch danach per Online-Coaching dabei unterstützt, nicht mehr im Quark stecken zu bleiben und kann jedem nur empfehlen, mit Sina zu trainieren!

Give this lower body, upper body 🦵strength super set a blast ‍️ Well technically it's not a super set it's peripheral heart rate training if you're asking but who cares it's tough and it gets you going. ⁣

Top tips:⁣

Racking DBs in front makes the core work hard. But alternatively you could hold by your side. ⁣
⁣
If you can't do pull ups, use assisted pull up machine or a resistance band or perform negatives. You could use a weighted vest or weights belt but I find them fiddly so I just grab the weight with my feet. ⁣
⁣
Perform exercises back to back then rest and do 5x5 as heavy as you can for 5 reps. ⁣
⁣

Klimmzüge  Wie schon mal erwähnt eine meiner Lieblingsübungen Im Allgemeinen werden neben deiner Rückenmuskulatur auch die Arm- und Oberarmmuskeln trainiert. Klimmzüge sind jedoch nicht als Einzeltraining für den Rücken gedacht. Deshalb ist es essentiell, das Training mit weiteren Übungen zu ergänzen. Damit kannst du einem Ungleichgewicht deiner Muskeln effektiv vorbeugen.

Mithilfe des Trainings kannst du für eine stärkere Muskulatur im Rückenbereich sowie eine verbesserte Körperhaltung sorgen. Möchtest du dein Training erschweren, kannst du dir währenddessen einzelne Gewichte an deine Hüfte fixieren.
