I feel like this pregnancy 🤰 is going way to slow. I feel like my body is not longer mine.

I feel like all the progress I made toning and working on my body before each pregnancy 🤰 was for nothing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But then I think 🤔 what if I never started. What if I didn’t have my fit fam? What if I was eating unhealthy foods daily or eating the same thing every day as I used to do. I wouldn’t have been providing my babies what they need. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The process has been slow, some days painful  but never not worth it. It would be worst if we stand still, if you have no progress at all.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I am content today and I will continue to motivate and push others to do the same because I know the magic it can bring to your life.

If you don't make a mistake, then you aren't trying hard enough!

I know some people who consider themselves a perfectionist. 
In fact I worked with one very closely a while back. 
It seemed like I was always doing something wrong... LOL, she thought I was!  Because I would keep moving forward before my project was Perfect! The more I worked with her, the more I thought things needed to be perfect before I could share it with other people.

This produced a great result with the projects that I eventually finished which was very few, but I found that it stopped me from moving forward most of the time. 
My projects never got to the Perfect status.

After a time, I learned if I was 80% or more done, then it's time to go!  Things can be adjusted as needed.

If I waited until something was perfect, then I would never move forward. 
This works with everything in life, especially when we are trying our hand at a new idea or new business.

Quality is important, but perfection stops us. 
So... Believe in what you are doing. 
Know that you are making a positive impact on others.
Be that risk taker that you have been afraid of being.
Show your vulnerable side.
Be happy to be you!
Let each day be the best that you can!
And whatever you do, DON'T STOP!

We all have been through times when we are trying to reach a goal or discover our niche and felt as if there was no light at the end of tunnel. However, a few simple ways ways and a positive mindset can help keep us stay motivated and engaged while pursuing our long term goals. Here are a few: - Remember your why. What’s driving you to create this long term goal? Knowing and reminding yourself why you started can help you stay inspired.
- Always celebrate small wins, no matter how small they are.
- Track your progress and review every milestone.
- Stop punishing yourself for slip ups and small failures.
- Form an accountability group to give you an extra push to follow through your plans and goals. - Break down everything to achievable tasks.

And most important of all..... keep moving ahead!! You are too good to give up on yourself. You are too good to let people or circumstances break you down. You are too good to stop before you reach the finish line.

We're all human! Got home late last night and wanted to dance it out - phone fell off the mirror, stepped on my foot wrong, was generally exhausted. I'm transitioning out of my day job I've had for over 11 years and into a new adventure, and my workouts have kept me sane during the transition.  Stiff shoulder can’t get overhead? It isn’t always the muscles causing this! Sometimes we can have a joint block that needs to be removed in order to improve our range of motion. Joints respond to repetitive motion, and we are showing the most common motion to help with these shoulder joint blocks. Give this a try and let us know what you think!

1️⃣ Put your hand on the back or a chair, couch, table, or grab a poll so that your arm is behind you. Now lunge or walk forward so that your shoulder goes into more extension. Lunge or walk further and further each time getting deeper into this motion. Re-assess your shoulder range of motion after and check out the difference!

What’s one of the muscles that supports everything we do? Hamstrings! When your hamstrings are weak, your pelvic-lumbar complex is not being supported from the posterior chain. And that can result in a lot of things like low back pain + over-active hip flexors to name a few. : when your hamstrings are strong + your body knows how to properly load them then you’ll find that your body feels supported. You’ll also find that your #booty looks perkier cuz with hamstring work = #bootygainz and who doesn’t love that? : here’s a simple and effective hamstring focused circuit, enjoy + try to intentionally find tension in your hammies : 3sets of 3 exercises with minimal rest =
1) barbell deadlift x12
2) 10 sec isometric single leg elevated hip bridge x2 each side
3) eccentric split squat w/max tension + front hamstring contraction (drag floor back with front heel as hard as you can) x1 ES .

I’m the kind of person that likes a challenge, the kind of person that likes to start stuff, and the kind of person that’s willing to go big or go home. I had no idea what I was stepping into with this little 30 day challenge, but I decided I needed to start moving in a healthier direction again. This challenge was a tough one, and it pushed me way past my physical comfort zone... but I’m thankful it did. However, I’m more excited that I finished this. Finishing gave me the confidence and reassurance that I can and will finish my next 30 day challenge. My body is changing again for the better, but it’s a very slow process. But do you want to know something, it’s worth it. .

HELLO! IG is working for me again!!! Whoooo! 
My normal weigh in day is Friday but we are going out of town so I went a day early. I’m happy  only .6 away from 25!!!! Eeekkkkk!!! .
Now, off to our weekend getaway. Will I track? Likely not. But I will still, and always, be mindful. It’s okay to eat. It’s okay to not track is life is just being life. It’s okay. I didn’t make it to the gym today because too much to do. Yes it’s an excuse but I don’t feel guilty. I know I’ll get right back into my normal groove as soon as I return. I am not giving up on myself. But I am enjoying my life! And that, my friends, should be the golden rule

Being someone who suffers from chronic pain, osteoporosis, and the current fractures in my back it’s really hard to get up and do lots of things. I must do small things and the rest all day everyday day. 
I know each day I will be in physical pain; but I keep moving! Moving forward and looking for the positive ways I can improve myself and my life. Going to nature has always been the so freeing!

She is down nearly 40lbs and is stronger  and healthier  than she’s ever been! Read HER story! ⬇️⬇️ “Prior to having my son in 2009 I had always been relatively thin. Fast forward 10 years and 3 children later and my life had become a series of fad diets, failed gym memberships, and starting over more times than I can even remember.

At a doctor’s visit in January 2019 I received a handout on managing obesity that had computer generated based on my height, weight, and age.  It was eye opening to say the least. Something other than my clothes and a mirror were telling me my life style had gotten out of control. Around the same time I saw a friend post about her gym, Burn Boot Camp.

I made it through my 14 day trial of Burn on Tylenol and epsom salt baths, but I was determined not to quit and even more determined not to start over again. There were many days I told myself “I can’t do this” for 45 minutes straight.  In the past these were the days I would have quit, but this time I had the community at Burn showing me and telling me I could do it, until finally one day I believed for myself that I could. 
It’s been 6 months since I walked into Burn and I seriously can’t imagine my routine without Burn being a part of it (I even attended camp during our vacation). I’m down nearly 40 pounds, but I’m stronger and healthier than I’ve ever been. For the first time I realize that this journey isn’t a goal with an end, but a continuous path of prioritizing me and making better choices for my health.
